Back again.
I decided on another hour so went back to bed.
Just back from my walk through the park, not far but the best/furthest I've managed for over 4 weeks.

Forecast has changed dramatically. After tomorrow we have 7 days of rain.
I met a lady in the park who told me her daughter was off to Shell Island on Saturday and had seen the change in forecast.
It's a beautiful place.......if you get the weather but a miserable place in the rain.

Got a Teams meeting at 10.

I've signed up with the OU as you know, but because of my dyslexia and knackered arm and hand (I've doctors reports for both) they might give me some free stuff. Im hoping a bit more than a mouse mat, but we shall see.

Awaiting phone call to say whether I am back in hospital today or tomorrow for 24 more days of chemo. This will be round 2.

Good news earlier in the week is that I am in remission after round 1.

I hate hanging around waiting in will we or won't we situations.

Have a good day all.

:hello:Morning, rotten nights sleep feel like poo now,
still I haven't got anywhere to go today, so have a quite day at home.
My our door temp gauge is reading 29c, but it's in the sun, the one in the shade is 24c.

keep hydrated , it might revive you a bit , I think men are supposed to drink 3 pints ( not beer ! ) a day . tea dehydrates a bit and coffee is worse , the caffeine 'aint the best for old codgers like us

Just been looking at a forum I used to use a lot when I was working

proper IT people working in schools but nice as well - mostly

anyway one of them has apparently just received an email telling him there is an all-staff meeting in 45 minutes in the main hall

and on the way in they need to scan a QR code that has bee stuck to the door so they can fill in a survey about the new behaviour system

so
a) sending an email about a QR code that has been PRINTED OUT and stuck to the door
b) every teacher and TA and member of admin has to arrive at the same time and get their phone to scan this QR code
thus forming a neat code of people ina small area in teh middle of the school in this heat

on top of which a lot of these people will be the sort of people who will
a) not know where their phone is
b) will take a minute or 7 to get it working
c) won't remember how to scan a QR code
d) will be wanting to chat to their freinds about doing it while they are doing it
e) Senior manglement will be waiting and wondering why everyone is late and grumpy
