BBC2 tonight have Oasis as the featured band so not much else on so watching a bit of it. Well confession I'm not a fan but every song sounds virtually indistinguishable from the next.
I know some think they are the greatest thing since the Beatles but it's not for me.

I watched the Stereophonics live at the Isle of Wight festival instead. So much better than Oasis in my opinion. 😀

Today went well . Race went ok and we cancelled the new member training in the afternoon as it was just too windy.
I much prefer this type of temperature, but it looks like the temperature is rising again in the run up to next weekend .
Oh well we will see what happens .

Sat in tent here now, it’s blowing a hoolie out - popped a couple more guylines out 😜
It’s been a hot weekend, but a lot of fun with my sister, our offspring & partners - shattered now!

Sting amazed me with how good his voice was, the Lottery Winners were good, with loads of funny banter that I doubt made the TV edit 🫣…
Sadly Alison Moyet wasn’t good, but meant I went and saw most of Midge Ure who knocked it out of the park - perhaps set of the weekend for me 💪

Surprise was Justin Timberlake tonight: I’m no great fan, know little of his stuff but wow - what a polished production he put on - very American, but worthy of a Vegas show!

Other surprise was how much fun watching Sock Wrestling was 🤣

Woke at 2.25 and still wide awake. I don’t understand this, I've been sleeping very well and now the last 3/4 nights I'm back to the old ways.

Raining here but supposed to brighten up for a few hours before the rain returns for the afternoon.
A decent sleep has been enjoyed.

I went to a café once and ordered some soup.. The chap taking the order asking if i wanted Oasis soup or just as it is.
I asked what the difference was with the Oasis soup.
He said you get a roll with it.... 👍

Good morning folks. Disappointing to have been out bid on the bike I was looking at. It was a last second autobid by the look of it. A 24" Frog bike for granddaughter's birthday in August. Went for about £235 in the end. There's a fair bit of BSO out there, but she's moving up from a smaller Frog, so well thought out for younger riders.
The search continues, if there's nothing then we will look at new.

Good morning all.
This is more my temperature. A bit cooler and a fresh breeze.
The first of the bin lorries has just come down our road, and it obviously needs an internal steam clean as the smell coming out of it is pretty bad.
Millie is going back to the Vets this morning, she hurt her back 4 weeks ago and is still very stiff on her back legs.
Then we are going to the Ice cream parlour at Lewis's farm just out side Barnet. They make their own ice cream with the milk from their own cows and it is delicious.
I'll need to get out on the bike afterwards.
I have also just had a message from the Doctor's surgery saying I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. I haven't made it myself, so the quack wants to see me for something or other.
