Morning.
Crap nights sleep, oh well it happens on occasion.
Overcast, misty and damp out so not the weather I was hoping for to get out and meet club on a social ride. Currently undecided, I want to ride as not been since Wednesday but raining in the wet is my least fun thing to do. I'll give it an hour or so.

Morning all :hello:

Off to pick up the Barracuda in a couple of hours time.
I'll get it up on my workbench and have a good look over it when I get back.
The Flying Scotsman will be going back and forth outside our place for the next few days. We're expecting lots of railway nerds lining the lanes, trying to get a good photo. They best not set up on my property.

You say Barracuda is a project bike but by the photo it looks in pretty decent condition?

There's a couple of parts missing - oil tank filter and oil banjo. Forks need looking at. Petrol tank needs a repair.
I'll get it running first then set about the other stuff.
It's got new tyres and was running when put away a couple of years ago, so I'm not expecting anything disastrous - but you never know....

I envy you as I'd love to buy an old British bike and spend days fettling but I have too many sports and hobbies to even consider it! Plus the wife would have a fit. Decades ago I was what was then termed a biker, in a gang etc. Seems several lifetimes away now.

There's a really popular Bike Night held every Tuesday night on Poole Quay. Loads of customized bikes and people having a really good time. I was tempted to pop down on my blinged up CHPT3 Brommie but I don't have a leather jacket 😉
