We hit 29⁰ outside but the house was deliciously cool inside. Blinds and curtains drawn to keep the sun out.

It's 10.50 and a local farmer is busy cutting silage. Bloody noisy!!

I have noticed a disturbing trend which is that every time you say that we get one month nearer to winter.
Maybe you could stop saying it until January or even March.
