Morning. Feels much fresher this morning, but once again we have showers due mid to late morning. Better get out and enjoy the cool as it’s back to being warmer and more humid again tomorrow.

No cycling to watch today as it’s a rest day.

It has been mostly dry and windy here
but everytime the flags in the garden dried it rained again

and still windy

much cooler though - which is nice for SWMBO as she has been suffering a bit in the heat
I seem to adapt a lot easier and just sweat a lot

Paul's top tip for today. As soon as your flags are dry get them off the line, neatly folded in the wash basket and inside.........just in case it rains again.

Good morning. I've been awake since 3.30. 😢 but think I might doze off for a couple of hours......back to bed when my brew is finished.

Cool and fresh this morning with 80 - 95% rain forecast till 5.00pm.

#1 and #3SPs today. I have to leave at 8.00 to collect them. Alarm set for 7.45! 👋😴👋

Good morning from a pleasantly cool Dorset. Torrential rain overnight woke me at 04:30 and brought a cool breeze. Walking group today and I have to pop down to the station to collect my ticket for tomorrow's trip to join Mrs Tkk in London.

Good morning from Inverness.
A grey start to the day here.
The train ride from London was excellent although because of ongoing signalling delays it was 23 minutes late leaving King's Cross. At one point it was over an hour late at Newcastle but arranged Inverness 35 minutes late. This means we get 50% of our fare refunded which equates to £38 each.
The travellodge is only a short walk from the station, and is quite comfortable I have to say.
Today's plan is to get the 1041 to Thurso so an early breakfast and i have a bit of a stroll around town.

Morning all

Having log in problems on my tablet - refusing auto fill password then locking me out after several attempts.
I've changed passwords several times but to no avail.
Tech problems this week are getting frustrating!

Cooler and very windy with overnight rain.
Need to ride as got a very hilly club annual ride on Sunday but weather conditions not good. Might be forced onto the turbo which is bad enough at any time of year but mid July would be ridiculous.

Was up at 5. Had a cuppa and a chocky bickie then went back to bed and had a deep one hour kip.
Just had a rice pudding which was enjoyable.
Forecast has changed from 2 hours rain all day on and off. Fortunately I don't NEED to walk but do enjoy it.
I nearly bought a treadmill last year, will have another think before winter.

Morning folks no need to water the garden this morning! Had some peat delivered yesterday which i'll mix with compost for planting some ericaceous plants. I do like my Fothergilla for autumn colour and a bluebird hydrangea which needs an acid soil to get blue flowers instead of pink if its limey.
Off for a spin this morning and should be nicely cool!
