I'm not looking forward to it. Still, early night I guess.
Early night maybe.
But there'll be obs every three hours, bloods taken, medication, blokes snoring and then when you've managed to drop off to sleep for five minutes, you'll be woken by a nurse asking if you want anything to help you sleep.

That amongst all the various flashing lights and beeps that do their best to stop you sleeping.

Take care, and do what the nurses tell you!

Looks like I might not make it to a ward tonight but will be in a reclining chair in the A&E admissions waiting room.

Going to try and get my head down now, make the best of a bad job. Sadly one of the other patients is a loud gobby git and is on the verge of kicking off, so that might be wishful thinking.

So might Johnboy... hopefully.
Those rooms are only slightly quieter than the A&E, make the best of a bad day. Then onwards and outwards tomorrow..

Zero realistic prospect of sleep. The reclining chair is designed for an oompa loompa.
There's been no kicking off yet?

If you listen carefully, the beeps blend into a weird sort of tune that can have an hypnotising effect. Helping you drop off to sleep, no matter what you're sat in.

Yeah, there's been one kicking off. She's gone and no one misses her.

They're keeping me for overnight ons and an MRI in the morning. Two old biddies have come in and I've told the nurses that if a bed becomes available for me to let one of the old dears have it. Other than feeling a little weak down my left side I'm fine, and with luck could be on my way home by 11am.

Coooeeee. 12 deg here so a tad cool.

The sun is shining though so a nice day for us I think

Stay safe peeps :hello:

12C is freezing for us no longer bronzed Aussies in Melbourne. On sunday we rode from Lilydale Railway Station along Australia's firstRail trail to our lunch stop at Woori Yallock. Cold north west wind blowing so we did not stick around after eating our sandwiches. The uphill riding and the north wind on the return did warm us up again.

I fail to login for a few days & look at you. Can’t be trusted to stay out of trouble 🫣
At least I’ve now learned what GWS is. Thought it was a Great Western Something.
GWS, & do as you’re told 👍

There's always someone comes in thats worse than you. I was asked last September if I minded being treated outside of a cubicle. An old biddy was brought in barely breathing, and deemed to be a higher priority, but still they had to ask if I minded giving the cubicle to her.

As for time away, I'll say it'll be nearer one pm. A larger "doughnut" might be required for you.

Take what sleep you can.
