Well, decided to go the Dukes Pass way. Really seriously shouldn't have done that. I've done it before on a mountain bike and a gravel bike but both were not loaded. Trying it on a loaded bike was hard, I had a serious bonk on by the time I got to Callander. Getting back from there to home was not fun.
Just as I got to the village my wahoo decided to have a mardy and stopped working, hopefully it's just a flat battery. It stopped at 85km.

I have only really bonked once in my cycling life.
Nowhere as serious as yours sounds but it was really not nice.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
Looking out of the window it appears to of been raining overnight
All the usual things to do today, plus it's a big stage of the Tour, so the telly will be on from 1100 as ITV are showing the whole stage start to finish.
MrsP is covering at the animal shelter again today so I'll be left in peace with the dog and the cats.
Time for a mug of tea :cuppa: and let the moggies and Millie out into the garden.

I met a local lady on my walk this morning who usually has three Golden Retrievers, including one lovely older one called Millie. Sadly Millie wasn’t with her this morning and I was sad to hear she had lost her. She was such a friendly, couthy girl who always came for a clap.
