My afternoon snooze was quite unsatisfactory.. In fact, I didn't ☹️

I had 30 minutes. Enjoyed it.
Sorry ^_^
Mt WD does most of the cooking. So it was down to him. To be fair he isn't a big fan.of white sauce either but the thought it might be a bit bland so made it.

Ahhh so you are just management in the kitchen ??

Well....my 20 year old Honda CRV has finally bit the dust.
Failed it's MOT on corrosion amongst a couple of other things. I've had it over 6 years and it's been the best car I've ever owned. Loved it!
I'm going to look at a nice low mileage Freelander 2 tomorrow morning.
Might buy that and get the CRV repaired and sold on privately. Who knows...

Meanwhile, specially for @PaulSB , today's little job was to make up a press arbor plate out of some 8mm mild steel.

If you don’t mind me asking…

You’re at the end of life with a Honda (reliable) that you think is the best car you’ve ever had, and you’re considering a Freelander? 🤔

Good morning. Up a bit earlier as Mrs Tkk has an early train to the Metropolis. She's collecting granddaughter, popping in to the Apple store to have a replacement battery fitted to her iPhone 12 Mini, and also visiting Brompton Junction for a test ride of a G Line ( you can't have too many bikes ).
She's back tomorrow so in the meantime I can have a whole day to myself on the razz ( not really, I've been left a list 🥲 ) 😁

Barnet,
Good morning all.
It's going to be a bit cloudy today.
The cats have been fed, and Poppy and Daisy have gone out. Harry has come in from his nightly patrol, breakfasted and is now making himself comfortable on my bed.
The dog has been out and has also been fed.
Lastly, I have my cup of tea. :cuppa:

Good morning. Grey and dull outside. Awake since 2.30 again. I was very tired, again, last night and in bed and asleep by 9.15. I've had enough sleep but this is playing havoc with my sleep pattern. It needs some thought.

I had planned a morning on the allotment but I don't really feel up for that. Instead I'll get all the chores done and the allotment tomorrow. It's a cards group this afternoon. I've yet to decide if I fancy bridge or canasta today. I think Mrs P will expect me to "think about tea" - in our house this is code for you're cooking tonight.:laugh:
