Don’t know if this will work depending on the sharing options. Hard luck if you just wanted a quiet drink. One of the local pipe bands after the games.

I'll have to check tomorrow, at the library. The library service have their own account, so I should be able to view it.

Did they sound as good at the end of the games, as they did at the start of them?

A late night as daughter and grandson arrived about 8pm and we served up Mrs Tkk's pasta bake accompanied by garlic bread. Had a good catchup and a couple of drinks. Woke up with heartburn so here I am downstairs on the sofa chewing on a Gaviscon tablet. Daughter has an electric VW so that's currently charging via a " Granny Charger " cable hanging out the kitchen window.

There are a few mumbles here in Oz that there should be a road usage charge for electrics as they avoid the fuel excise.

In the long-term something of this sort will have to happen in the UK. For the current year VED is forecast to generate £9.1bn (per household equivalent £320) and in 2020/21 fuel duty revenues were £26bn (household equivalent £850)

Once we move fully EV that's £35bn lost to the Exchequer at today's rates. That's a lot of tax revenue, £1170 per household, to replace.

There will come a point when EV users will have to pay taxes to use their vehicles.

Good morning. I haven't checked the forecast..................I like a surprise. Been awake since some crazy hour and I'm heading back to bed shortly for a nap. This seems to work though I don't like it as a sleep pattern.

Yesterday #2SP was here. Like the other two I love her dearly but building the relationship is harder. I think it's because she doesn't come as often and each time she has to reset............. I don't like sharing with other grandparents!!! Today we have #1 and #3SPs which is a busy, busy day. #1 always wants/expects Granddad to spend time alone with her. That can be difficult when her sister, #3SP, is only seven months.......last week #3 was definitely Granddad's girl.

Enough of my childminding not that I've got much else on yesterday and today, then I'll probably be in bed by 9.00pm!! Oh, yes this happened. A few days ago I received an email purporting to be from Screwfix to tell me my refund had been processed. I haven't bought anything from Screwfix in five years. Scam Alert!! I clicked nothing. Yesterday £9.99 from Screwfix landed in my bank account. I feel I should return this obvious error but how on earth would one even begin???

I'm off 😴😴😴
