Good morning from a sunny but chilly Dorset. Walking group this morning but no veg box delivery as we are away for a long weekend in Edinburgh. The insulation is still in rolls in the loft and the fitting can wait until we're back.
Wandered around Aldi yesterday and among the Christmas stuff I spotted this:

My SiL just had a clever scam call. Basically pretending to be his phone supplier. They actually told him the last 4 numbers of his bank account and asked for the other numbers. At that point he put the phone down, rang his phone company and asked to be put through to fraud.
Fraud told him that, at that very moment the scammers were on to them, pretending to be my SiL and actually in the process of changing his email account.
Now, my SiL is quite sharp but that was a close call.

I’m just back another walk and it’s lovely here. I started off with a light fleece jacket over my t shirt but had to take it off and carry it. Really quite warm in the sun.

That’s 13.7 miles walked today. That will do me.

Warm here to, just spent a couple of hours cleaning the jungle that's masquerading as my garden. That's more than enough of that. Had to have a mug of tea and lay down to recover. Besides, the garden waist bin is now full and Thursday is the last pick up until spring. What's not done will have to wait until then.

We had to go to Doglellau today. The bins girlfriend had a driving lesson there and the bin is in carmarthen training. And as everyone else was working guess who the taxi was.

While we waited for the lesson to end, we went for a walk along the Mawdach trail. Ended up doing a couple of miles, then went for a walk around the town ( not keen on it) to be honest

I had to go up the Bwlch, the road through the mountain. It is very steep and I was not looking forward to it, but my car did it without any trouble.

Lovely walk around Walton's pool on the Quantocks this morning.
Good views across the channel and across to Wales.
Didn't see any lizards or snakes.

It looks like we pensioners may have to pay national insurance and income tax too if Reeves gets her own way,
life won't be worth living soon, maybe that's why they brought in assisted killing bill in to power.
