I have just slit the tip of my finger
What did you do that for?
I have just slit the tip of my finger
When you replace the current dressing, put some antiseptic cream on the cut before you apply the new dressing. Placing any more dressings on top of the one in place.I have just slit the tip of my index finger, right hand (on a safety razor).....it won't stop bleeding.
I have stuck a small plaster on it but it's in a really awkward place.
It's one of those times when you realise just how much you rely on a finger.

Don't remove any, as you risk opening the cut again.
You need "steri strips", every home should have packet
Not hear of them tbh.... I shall Google that

Superglue was actually invented for this purpose, i believe, rather than sticking smashed Ming vases back together .. 👍
Wonder if the inventor found out by accident that it stuck skin together.![]()
They are good, even sticks to a bloody wound to close it up, sometimes used instead of stitches
