Ok, so I moaned about fish & chip prices in Kendal a couple of days ago.

Now, another pricing moan...

2 x mirror Wills plus 2 Property & Finance LPA's + 2 Health LPA's a whopping...

... £1900!

6 hours work, apparently!

6 hours work but knowing what they were doing!


We just paid a spot under $3,000 Australian for the same.

I did ours yesterday. A symbol comes up about once a month. I used to ignore it until the internal tube that feeds the pressurised hot water onto the coffee blew off due to a build up of limescale, now I do it regularly. ( I also give it a good clean internally, it's amazing how the freshly ground coffee from the internal grinder gets everywhere and builds up to a manky looking residue )

I only have a cheap one it doesn't tell me when it needs to be done.

As it happens, I'm descaling my coffee machine at this very moment!

Good morning all.
It's just getting light but there is quite a bit of cloud. It should be sunny and quite warm, 17⁰ later on.
The first of the bin lorries has just come down our road.
Today's plan is to go to the Ashridge estate near Tring with Millie for walk through the extensive woodlands, our son is going to meet us at a nearby cafè first for breakfast beforehand.

Geddy was good in the night. Mrs D got up for a wee and let Geddy in the garden, but otherwise he went all night.

Its mild enough again today to have the garden door open so he and Bruce are already wondering about.

So far no whoopsies in the house 🤞

Several parcels to post this morning and a bit of shopping to be done.
I shall then retreat into my workshop to finish off the Barracuda forks.

Descaling has been finished..
Even after several rinses, the first coffee tastes icky.. 🤮

Morning.
Overcast but wind has eased somewhat from weekend.
Managed a 30 mile spin on bike yesterday, really nice in the sunshine and blew a few cobwebs away.
Plan today is clean the windows as after weekends gales there are filthy.
First though coffee.

Do you use specific descaling tablets, if so which ones? My machine came with one but that was it so I need to get more but apparently you can use I think white vinegar or something? I think I'll jst buy specifc descaling tablets though.
