The longest ride I have ever done was 90kms when I did the C2C.
Now, most of my rides are between 20 and 45 kms. That is enough for me.

A while ago, I can't do distances now, but this was my longest ride..
Overnight Dunwich Dynamo plus onwards to Lowestoft Morrisons for my lift home with one of the drivers.

I have just been told that I am on scrambled egg with salmon** on toast for breckie.
**eggs with salmon doesn't sit right with me but I will give it a go..... gift horse in the mouth etc.

If yer were busy stuffing scrambled egg and salmon in yer mouth where'd the horse go?

I really dont feel at all well. Ache all over, cant breathe very well, headache, leaks can barely support me.

Your symptoms sound very similar to the currant variant of Covid that’s doing the rounds at the moment . ☹️

Top tip for beans on toast, after buttering toast spread thinly according to taste with Marmite. Beans on top then grated cheese. Liberal application of HP brown sauce.
Hits the spot a treat.

Good morning. It looks damp outside. A dreadful sleep, I woke off and on from 00:45 and eventually gave up at 4.00am.

Today I have a u3a committee meeting and then I'm going to the Bicycle Lounge for a bike fit and discussion on models, set up etc. This is getting serious.

I'm feeling dozy so I'll try and nap for an hour. Alarm set for 7.15.

For my taste buds and foibles brown sauce is very good but only on certain foods eg sausage or bacon butty.
As I say imo only.

Was just about to mention you. When I got Covid (must be over 6 years now) the symptoms were very much like flue.
Hope you improve quickly, it's a nasty virus.
