Good morning folks.
An unplanned sleepover last night, daughter and granddaughter popped around for a visit and granddaughter stayed so mummy could go home and work on a job application.
We ended up watching the Sound of Music, she really enjoyed it and is currently singing the " Do, re, mi " song on repeat 😄. It's the first time I've seen it, quite a long film.

Good morning. Dank and foggy here, very pleased I went out with the club yesterday as the second half of the ride was pleasantly sunny. Another 58 miles in the bag. So, today! I've tidied round, that's code for put away Mrs P's crap. Her comment is usually it's only superficial mess. This is true but if it was in the cupboard instead of on the dining table it wouldn't be messy!!!!!! I just live with it.

#1 son, DIL and #2SP are due for a late lunch. DIL is vegetarian so we are having potato, leek and cheese pie with potatoes and leeks from our allotment. This will be followed by apple cake with apples from neighbour's cooker. Delicious. Mrs P has needed a new laptop for years, perhaps ten, for some reason last week she ordered one from the Amazon Prime sale. £198. For several years I've urged her to get a Chromebook and this is what has arrived. For £200 it is very impressive though the keyboard would irritate me. It's one of those devices that is a laptop and tablet combined. I have been tasked with set up which I have done. Quick. Simple. I am very impressed and if I decide to replace my W10 which won't run W11 I'll get a Chromebook....................with a better keyboard!!

There is an issue. Google accounts come with 15GB of storage on G-Drive. The set up has revealed Mrs P has filled this with photos on automatic backup from her phone. Excellent. However G-Drive is full and has been for three years. Mrs P has admitted to ignoring the warning messages for at least three years. Today's other task is to set Mrs P's phone to backup directly to my Outlook account ***** which comes with one terrabyte of data - 1000GB. Surely Mrs P can't fill that???? There are at least three years worth of photos to backup.

I'm off time to exercise

***** this is fraught with danger. Mrs P will be able to access my very well organised Outlook account................................it will almost certainly become messy!

Bonjour. Grey and chilly in North Wales today.
We are going for a carvery in Llandudno at 1 pm, 6 of us, so that should take care of most of the afternoon . As usual, I am the designated driver in my car as I only have half a pint of shandy with my meal.

What's she moaning about? Its now cide and clean! A few hours reassembly and some careful ironing and it'll be good to go again. That's good for the planet.
