Good morning from a bright-ish Dorset. Mrs Tkk is taking granddaughter #2 back to that London today. She's had a lovely time and lots of playing in the fresh air.
Poole beer festival yesterday, a choice of more than 100 ales and ciders from all over the country. I whittled it down to stouts and puddings theme, with a Tiramisu and a coconut imbued stout being my favourite. There was a stout labelled " Black Mass " at 6.66%, I gave that a miss and finished the session with " Gurt Coconuts " at 6.68%, like a liquid bounty bar. I was only drinking halves and restricted the number of beers I sampled so feel non the worse for wear this morning.

Good morning all, a breezy start to the day here with the possibility of some rain this afternoon.
I'll be out and about on the bike later to the market and the local shops for a few bits and pieces.
The green garden bin lorry has been down the road early as usual and I'm now drinking my first mug of tea

Riverside trail walked. I managed most of it before the rain came back on. Fried egg sarnie for breakfast this morning.

Raining here and looks like it has been for ages

I did notice that the puddles on the canal paths were still much less than normal at this time of year

but then were still enough to make my bike filthy

Apparently I am taking SWMBO to the hairdresser after lunch
she probably expects that I will pick her up some hours later

I really cannot understand how it takes so long - my hair takes 10 minutes at most!!!

It has to take that long to justify the price they charge. I keep trying to get Mrs Tkk to go to the new Turkish barbers up the road but she insists on sticking with her regular hairdresser 😉

I did suggest to our 13 year old granddaughter that I could trim her hair with the kitchen scissors

I have no idea why she ran out of the kitchen screaming and holding her hair and head!!!!

Her Gran was laughing too much to be much help as well!
