Good morning from a gloriously sunny Lancashire. Today is a treatment day. This will be a challenge for Mrs P, she is still in a lot of pain. We have to get her from the patient drop off to the cancer ward and on to a bed, then back again. I will be dumping my car in the drop off only zone, right outside the main entrance. Yes, I know it's selfish but I feel circumstances forgive this.
First and foremost.
@Dave7
back. We have missed you..................well we have to say that don't we?

Sorry, mate, couldn't resist!!
The rest of my day will be housework, shopping, general chores and importantly a haircut and beard trim. I'm feeling a bit shaggy and disreputable so as soon as Mrs P is settled I'll head to the barbers.
I've done something very important. I feel it is. On Wednesday I called seven people for help to lift Mrs P. No one answered. It turned out everyone had their phone on silent/do not disturb. Some confessed their phones are permanently on silent. OK, personal choice. I've decided this doesn't work for me and I need to be sure I'm available 24/7 for a select few. That's family, #2 son's carers and a few very close friends. It's taken a while to sort out but my phone will now ring 24/7 or if it's in "do not disturb," which is needed in certain circumstances, will vibrate only. At night it's always in DND but will now ring for the select few. I've connected the vibration to my watch. It might seem excessive but I feel if someone needs me in an emergency I should be available/reliable. The next step is to set up my Wahoo this way, I'm likely to ignore/not hear the phone when I'm riding. It was a little complex, involved much Googling but I got there. Samsung could make this simpler.
Mrs P is upstairs. She has just WhatsApped - coffee and painkillers........................
