Just got my letter saying how much Old Age Pension I will be getting
looks like it will be just over £920 every 4 weeks
which will confuse the money matters - everything else is paid monthly!
but anyway - Thanks to all the people who are still working!!!

MrsP is waiting for her letter to come through inviting her to apply. Her birthday is in March.
My brother got his a few weeks back and his birthday is in February.

Mine is over £1k/4 weeks.
The 4 weekly payment cycle is very irritating and I have to factor in a 'double month' of SP for my forward cash flow projections.

I just treat it (the 13th payment) as a "bonus". Perhaps used to it because when I worked for the Co-op years ago, they paid on a 4 week cycle too

I was taught that with a decent malt.......add a trickle of cold water to help it breathe then take it slowly.
Cheap whisky eg Aldi's own I have always added lemonade or Coke etc.

A weird bad night's sleep for me with lots of dreams that I can only vaguely recall.
Sue's 100 year old aunty passed away yesterday evening. My daughter was upset. My stomach was in knots as it brought back vivid memories of Sue, the aunty and a cousin who were very close.
So....... here I am slurping coffee at this ungodly hour.
Friday is my bedding wash day so the Q. is, do I get that out of the road or go back to bed ?
