Good morning. Wet! A dreadful sleep, woke at 2.00am and finally back to sleep about 5.30, woke at 8.00ish. Feeling a bit crappy........it will pass.

@Baldy apologies, I missed it. Happy Birthday 🥂🎂

A big weekend in our house. Today is our 45th wedding anniversary, our third granddaughter's first birthday and on Monday it is our middle son's 37th birthday. We have all the family home, on Sunday, for a pizza lunch and cake. A very lazy way to celebrate but very easy.

I'm going to tidy and dust downstairs, hoover upstairs and clean the bathrooms. After that I plan to take it easy........all day.

Next is more coffee.

Good morning from a wet and windy Dorset. Had a great night watching Rory Bremner and Jan Raven at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole last night. Lats of amusing anecdotes, some personal stuff and then a Q&A from members of the audience. Mrs Tkk has just put a loaf on and I'm pondering heading out to face the elements.

Still soggy out there......stay down Drago.
I am going to the nearest farm shop for wild bird food, I can't find anywhere else local that sells them. I can get them online but have to buy a ton of them to get free delivery.
Question............
The farm shop doesn't open till 10.00. Seems late to me. What time does yours open ?

Will be making a wooden planter in my living room today so much sawing and measuring and hoovering of sawdust- all in a good cause as its for neighbours mother who wants to plant a rose :okay:

We always have a rule never to stay anywhere that’s not as good as our home, otherwise it’s not a holiday.
Interesting. I travelled a lot for work, drove 30,000+ miles and stayed away. From time to time I'd get questioned on my overnight expenses. My response was always I expect the same standard in a hotel as I would have at home. In some areas that was expensive.

Starting to feel a bit more chipper now. I've just finished another coffee and some toast while skimming through Facebook.

This isn't to start a political discussion but I find it quite disturbing how much right wing stuff and obvious click bait headlines is appearing in my feed. The more I block, the more that seems to appear.

I have noticed on Facebook that the but that says "People you might know"

has started to include a number of "Ladies" that, from their picture, seem to have forgotten to put their shirt/blouse on before taking the photo
and are of about my age or a bit younger

so they are basically in the underware
and if you look at their profile
they have thousands of "friends"

I have no idea why this has suddenly changed - but my internet search history is so boring that it would not cause this
unless - some "research" says that people with boring search history is a sucker for a romance scam

Facebook is weird - but very profitable!!

Yes, we will believe you 😂

Just seen an article on the news showing The Pope's visit to a Mosque

the shots of him walking in with some high ranking Islamic people made me notice tha the Pope and the Islamic "priests" (not sure of the correct word) were dressed almost exactly the same

which would probably be called heretical in some circles
