Evening all .
Had a nice race this morning ( other than being late to the start for the third week running 😂, still not used to the new boat and starting 3mins earlier ) . Considering everything, I finished where I thought I should which makes me happy. I think this boat will be a keeper as long as the old body ( especially the knee’s) holds out. Which is why my Christmas present from Mrs exlaser this year is some cushioning material that I can stick to the boats floor 😂.
Now relaxing before tea and waiting for wine o’clock ( 8pm ).
Have a good evening everyone .

Evening folks :okay: on the turbo, walked the beach, watched dvd's, zzzzzzz
My roses are arriving tomorrow and have prepared the bed with copious amounts of horse ***t and composted seaweed. Have put a cloche out on part of the bed so i can heal them in if its icy. :okay:

Good evening. It's dark. I think it's been sunny. A very busy day. We got up late, highly unusual for me but I slept for 8½ hours. Then with all the family coming for lunch it was a big rush to prepare. A good day was had by all. Three little granddaughters 5, 2 and 1 and none had a meltdown. That's a result.

Now I have a wee dram. Finally found this at a decent price. £26 in Sainsbury's with a Nectar card. My first thought is it's quite harsh but the taste has mellowed. This is a whisky that needs holding for a while to mellow it in the glass.

Finished watching the F1

and had dinner
which was gammon and very nice!

BTW - forgot to mention that on the ride today the bike went over 11,400 miles

which I was quite pleased with

(NB not on that one ride - but in total since I got it - thought I better make that clear!!!!)

weird things was that the mileage was 22 miles below the 11,400 at the start
so I took a few long cuts so it would be over

and by the end the mileometer said 23 miles

Strava reckons it was 19 and a bit

but once I stopped it recording and saved it it now says 21.51

Strava can be a bit weird at times!!

At the moment Glenmorangie, a highland single malt is £29.50 instead of £40.50 with the nectar card in Sainsbury's.
