Good morning all.
It's going to be a damp and drizzlely kind of day.
The first of the bin lorries has been down the road.
The cats and Millie have been fed and medicated, Harry is now asleep in the laundry basket and Daisy and Poppy have gone out.
I stayed up late to watch the snooker last night, something I haven't done for years, I found it quite absorbing.
A few domestics to do this morning after the early dog walk.

Good morning folks, off to catch the bus into Poole shortly, the early start means I will have to pay bus fare! ( £3).
Eye test at 09:00 then I will hang around in Poole as by the time I get back home it will be time to leave again for the Station. I an having the " extra add on " with the eye test where tbey do a scan of the back of the eye, it's an extra £9 but worth it if it reveals any issues.

I'm probably over wary
When I lived in North Wales we were without drinkable water for about 6 months at one point
and the water we had got turned off for 24 at a time sometimes

we got used to boiling all water to drink and keeping a bucket by the toilets

all of which was fun with a baby!!

Talk about third world countries!

Talk about third world countries!

They never even found the problem!
Apparently they could tell the water was contaminated with "bugs" at the point where it entered the pipes that went to houses - but never found where the problems came from
The "bugs" apparently often come from sheep poo on the hills

I amazed a lot of people to find that the hills of North Wales actually have sheep on them and it rains!!

it was all rather weird when you read the details

anyway - eventually they installed a UV thingy to kill all the bugs and it was OK after that

The electric was also dodgy for a lot of the time I lived there - it cut off quite often for hours at a time

It is interesting to note that this was all in the only City in North Wales at the time - not some remote village in the middle of nowhere!!

70 minutes to get to #SP2's house. 😪 On the plus side, a VERY BIG +, she was very excited to see Granddad. So far the best day we've had. #1 and #3 came from 6 months, #2 from 10/11. It's been more difficult to build the relationship with her.

She's helping Nana get dressed! Granddad has pre gymnastics coffee. 👍
