anyway - eventually they installed a UV thingy to kill all the bugs and it was OK after that
Poole " Waste Water Treatment Plant " AKA " the sh*t works installed a load of those. Very powerful UV tubes inside a polycarbonate protective outer. Of course like all things they have a specific life span before they need changing. Disconnect power, unscrew the end of the outer protective tube, slide out the UV lamp and replace. Hang on a minute, who built that wall there? It's too close to the ends of the tubes to be able to replace them 🤔😁

Really bad night, just couldn't settle. The alarm went off at 7.30, shut my eyes for two seconds, opened them again and it was 10.00. The sun was streaming through the curtains, I wasn't expecting that. By the time I'd dressed it's raining again, what's going on.

Tell me about it. I went a walk earlier and the rain couldn't make up its mind. Had my hood up and down about 6 times. :rain:

Just had one of these for lunch. They’re bloody expensive but handy and seem to have decent ingredients with no nasty additives.

My SiL has just sent me the latest NHS list of symptoms for this year's flu, cold and Covid.
I can categorically say I have the latest flu.
I had it down as a bad cold but it's definitely the flu.
I am one of those people that says "if you/they had flu they would know it". Well I have flu and do know it

Good morning folks, off to catch the bus into Poole shortly, the early start means I will have to pay bus fare! ( £3).
Eye test at 09:00 then I will hang around in Poole as by the time I get back home it will be time to leave again for the Station. I an having the " extra add on " with the eye test where tbey do a scan of the back of the eye, it's an extra £9 but worth it if it reveals any issues.
That only cost me £3.50.
