Well all cleaned up. Mrs P is asleep. Small person is asleep and I think Granddad might nod off. The transfer of photos from Google Drive to OneDrive appears to have gone well. The upload from Mrs P's phone continues. It started at 05.24, nearly 7 hours ago........we have 3982 photos still waiting to upload. I'm not sure if this includes video.

My boys are at home tonight......in theory.......Saturday's game was abandoned due to a flooded pitch. It's rained all Saturday night, part of Sunday, dry yesterday and heavy since midnight. Forecast is heavy rain till 14.00 and then light rain. I don't think we'll kick off, let alone finish. Disappointed there's been no announcement so far.

Bunch of wimps!!!
When I was at school I played for the 3rd Team Rugby for 2 years - football was banned - partly because the Head used to captain Wales and was something of a hero in the Wales Rugby area
Anyway - Rugby of Wednesday and Saturday afternoons (yes - we had school on Saturdays!) was compulsory - rain or not
sometime we tossed to star at the shallow end or deep end rather than left or right!!!!

We was 'ard in them days - Ross Kemp had nothing on us!!!

I have got a lifetime ban from posting on the jokes section.
I told a joke about a guy released from prison.
Absolutely none racist
None sexist
Nothing.
A person reported it as he thought it might offend anyone who knew anyone who had been in prison.
I asked the mod' if they had actually read the joke and if so what could offend anyone. I never got a reply of any sort.

I've been in jail ( only overnight ) for rough sleeping under one of the bridges on the Seine back in the 60's. Never even offered me coffee and a croissant the following morning 😁

This morning's footage from the camera monitoring hedgehog house #2 showed the hedgehog limping back in minus its right rear leg.
Contacted Dorset Hedgehog Rescue and followed their instructions. Clean bucket with fresh straw/ hot water bottle/ towel in the bottom. I took the lid off the house and carefully removed the straw around the hedgehog which was still alive. Put him in the bucket and covered with a clean towel then waited for the rescue lady to arrive. She said the rear leg had been taken at the joint ( probably a fox ). Hedgehog was a healthy weight and no parasites. They will look after him and release him into a safe garden once recovered. 🦔

I've been in quite a few prisons, they always let me out again. I used to deliver to them.

Did you ever go to Cornton Vale? 14 years since I left but if it was before that I may have seen you, although I did permanent night shift latterly.

I managed to get another wander without getting wet. I nipped round the corner to visit a girl I know that’s recently got a new rescue Collie and we took her a wander around the park. She is still nervous
with sudden noise or traffic but has a really sweet nature.
