Sticking my oar in but as I understand it the turkey should be out of the freezer by now. 1 day out for every 5 Lbs is what I believe to be the rule

Turkey Twizzlers can be cooked from frozen, I'm told... 200c for 16 to 18 minutes 👍

Morning folks :okay: just put up a frilly flowery fluttery flutterby net curtain, there was a heavy blind which decided to break and landed on my head! never liked it anyway as it was a bit dour.
Managed a spin yesterday but temps have dropped again with a risk of ice so walking today. :okay:

Maybe it knew and was just biding its time for the right moment!

Good morning. Very windy with clear skies. I think it will be beautiful day. I planned a gym session today but I've just spotted it's only open 10.00 - 14.00. That doesn't work so a decent walk is in order........a short distance at pace.

Thanks to a real effort from Mr and Mrs P most things are done. Today will be relaxed. A couple of presents to wrap, #2 son to collect and that's about it.

My new bike frame has arrived. 😍 The LBS are keeping it till early January when I need to decide on the final build. The big choice is 105, Ultegra or GRX. I favour Ultegra over 105 on cosmetics, I don't feel there's much difference in quality, if any. GRX gives a greater range as far as I can understand. 🤔..........and then the wheels??? 🤔🤔🤔 I've never owned Hunt or Swiss. I'm pondering those.

GRX gives lower ratios with some smaller front chainring options.

Might be handy as you edge closer to your 80's?

Personally, I'd explore GRX800 1x on any future bike.

Thanks. Yes, this is the reason for considering GRX. I have it on my gravel bike and it is very good.

I'm unsure about 1x. It's a mental thing. It took me a long time to move away from a triple when compact arrived. I rarely used the small triple ring but it was like a security blanket. I probably only actually used it when touring.
