woke up and when I looked at the clock it was 10 !!!!

There is a possibility that I drank a bit too much last night - which may have been relevant

I thin we are visiting the sister-in-law and her family today - we normally do

Yes, I saw that.
Did you see the clips of the state of the see/waves ? If they actually voluntarily went into that you have to question thier state of mind.......it was scary.

There were warnings about going into the sea, and several swims were cancelled because of the conditions.

A serious point ......the police will be out in force today looking for those driving over the limit. It takes a rediculous amount of time for levels to drop to normal.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but is/were there ever any CC frame or bag patches so we could say hello to fellow riders we've never met. I often sit with my coffee watching others cycle by and wonder if they are on CC.

Yup - I've looked it up and it takes a lot longer than people think

✅️ table cloth and napkins spot cleaned and washed - two year olds 😠
✅️ wrapping paper separated into recyclable and non-recyclable
✅️ gravy frozen
✅️ beef sliced and frozen in portions
✅️ best beef bits finely sliced for cold meal
✅️ fire cleaned out

Boxing Day can be exhausting..........I have coffee and a nice biscuit.

@Paulus as one Paul to another and with a little granddading experience. A little advice. Be prepared for nesting behaviour in your house. Stuff you didn't know you needed, perhaps have never seen before will appear, a drawer or drawers will be designated for the baby, be ready with the correct response to the "I saw this and thought it was lovely/cute/cosy."

On a serious point Facebook market place is an invaluable source of quality secondhand baby stuff and good prices. If you have a local community FB page/group this can be a great source. We've had three top quality, Which? recommended, car seats for less than £100 - all from people we know. These were £300+ each at today's prices. Car seats with a spinning base are essential for us more mature folk.

For me the number one thing. Choose your own name. I was always going to be Granddad, none of the other choices were on my list. Though I still feel a touch of sadness that the oldest has stopped calling me GanDan. 🤣

I think our names have already been chosen.
The Christmas card said Nanny and Grandpa.
My parents were called that by our Son and Daughter, so I guess she is carrying the names on.😁
