@Dave7 this is obviously not my photo. It was taken by a local photographer Jonathan Ellison. It's Saturday's Wolf Moon rising over Winter Hill (TV mast to right) and Rivington Pike (tower). We had a very bright full moon but by the time it was visible from the village it was much smaller in view.

Good morning all. -3⁰C and very frosty out. No cycling for me today. 😥

Three pages of catching up and here I am. Reading about the tree mystery ( inside job I reckon ) reminded me that Mrs Tkk used to work with a Nurse named Teresa Green, her married name so can't blame her parents. Minus 3 outside with frost on the pavement, will wait a bit before venturing out and head to our little park where it will be safer underfoot. 500 metres round the periphery so a few laps to do.

Morning all

No snow here, nobody has stolen our Christmas tree and my back's OK. Dead boring like......apart from a fantastic sunrise over the Quantocks.
Mate's are coming round at lunchtime and we're all walking up to the Railway Inn for our first Sunday lunch of the year.

Might venture out on bike as forecast looks wet for foreseeable. Take advantage whenever possible I think.

According to the local private weather stations - via weather underground - the temperature out there is between -3 and -5

looking outside, I can believe it!!

If I mentioned going out for a ride, I think eyebrows might be raised!

probably have to go to Tesco later - specifically Tesco as the car park is underground so it might be warmer!

Chilly walk done. Although it’s minus 5 there was no wind so it didn’t feel as bad as I was expecting. As I passed the park I noticed a big group of runners ready to set off. The local Strathearn Harriers judging by a few faces I recognised.
