Mike, a friend and a very good runner has a Vizsla. He competes in " Canicross " events ( cross country racing with your dog on a waist harness). Some great tales of being dragged across streams when his dog sees something interesting, being in the lead approaching the finish and his dog decides it's time for a dump. It has kept him extremely fit over the years.

Great way of getting a tow up the hills! Maybe I should get another dog.

TBH recharching seems to be a pain (every day ??).
Battery takes 1 minute and lasts, at a guess, several weeks. I only wear it for tv or if i want to hear the birdies

I know!! These are NHS supplied; I'm surprised that they're not needing Windows 7 to work!

My batteries last over a week with my usage. Only 3 days if I wear them all the time. TBHmy left ear isn't too bad, it's my right ear that's only 30%

I have NHS hearing aids but have never got on with them. I'd gotten so used to the hearing loss that when I turned them on everything was so loud. Horrid. In the room when the audiology woman set them up it was fine but outside it was horrid. They've lived in a drawer ever since. I really should get them sorted out.

I only use my hearing aids for church, once a week, so that is about 1 1/2 hours
and I seem to get through loads of batterys, I think I get about 8 - 10 hours in total.
We has rain, still it's not cold so there's a saving on the heating.

Mine is waaay to loud when i put it on. I 'click' it down 3 notches and then its fine.
Trouble is, when i remove it and open the battery hatch it resets itself.....so next time i have to re-click it down again.
My friend has the same type and has the same problem.

Trouble with seagulls on your roof? Pigeons in the garden?
Zap 'em with a green laser!
After reading somewhere on the internet that they really don't like it,
I bought a cheap (4 quid) laser pen off fleabay to try out and just tried it and it's more effective than my bb gun. Apparently it has to be a green laser - they ignore red ones.
