Morning all.
I was up for a most enjoyable pee at 04.30, debated staying up but managed another 90 mins doze (not sure its really helped).
Cold here as well. 2° but seems lower. Rain is in for the day.
Bedding to wash/dry this morning. Daughter came back from holibobs last night. We share the tumble drier so i expect a bottleneck.
My cleaner will be here 12.30.

Good morning all fellow retirees.
Yesterday I noticed water running down the down pipe from the guttering. It appears a joint has come apart. Our local roofing and guttering person is coming round today to put it back together. My days of going high ip ladders are long gone. I suspect that at some pojnt soon the whole lot will need replacing. We have been here 40 years this May and they were there then.

Good morning from a chilly Dorset. A busy day, plumber is coming to fit a new toilet in the upstairs bathroom and I have a zoom chat scheduled with my ex brother in law and his wife at 11:00 then will be collecting granddaughter from school as mum has a parents night. I expect a late night as it's two bus journey back from daughters place and not sure how long she will be occupied at her school.

Yesterday's forecast for today was wrong from the get go. Here about 4.00pm the sky cleared and the temperature plummeted, I knew then it would freeze hard last night. It did and while the frost has now lifted 2⁰ at 10.00am means we've abandoned our ride plans.

It will be a good day here though.
