Is 2 a day gluttonous?
2 a day is starvation! 😂
I like to work my way around the top, nibbling off the crenellations. This is followed by prising off the pastry lid and eating that, if it's deep fill then there's often a fair bit of filling adhering to the underside of the lid. The next step is to work your way round again, this time removing the pastry case from the side leaving you with a delicious mound of filling on a pastry base 😁

My membership auto renewed before the date it was supposed to, I was not going to renew. I decided to complain by ringing . Got a message that because they changed the membership pages they are getting a high volume of calls. 45 minutes minimum wait. I sent a email 5 days ago but no reply. not happy.I'm not renewing my Cycling UK membership this year so saved myself £53 and deleted my account after 22 years
.....I waved them across while i was stopped and nothing was coming....
The chain coming off, were it a result of you riding backwards?Right - just come back from a ride
normal loop but backwards
slight incident half way round as the chain came off and jammed itself down the back of the chain ring
Easier to get back on that normal - because the chain guard has separated into 2 bits - it does that at the slightest application of force - which is good because it goes back together OK and prevents actual damage
But the gears were a bit slow after so I reckon they have carp in there somewhere and need cleaning!
BY PURE CHANCE I discovered the Dinky Cafe Boat at Marina Village on the way back - lovely gluten free school cake and the owners were curious about how it tasted as GF cakes are always a bit dodgy
but if they are the only cakes you can eat then they are great!!!
I told her - truthfully - that they are the best I have had anywhere!

One of these days you'll go out and get back before you've set off, if you carry on doing that.
You realise that?
Doesn't have to be a fixie to ride backwards! You think I am one of those trendy fit people with a bike that can go backwards
(is that called a fixie???)
Wow - you should really pay more attention!
BTW - I think the chain came off, and the chain guard broke, because a stone or something got chucked up from the mud and got dragged onto the chain ring
When I got home and fixed it the frame that holds the chain guard in place was pushed well out of where it should have been and took some effort to even loosen it to put it back!
Doesn't have to be a fixie to ride backwards!

You might be that flexible and have the balance. Stopping at a cafe might raise questions about fitness though.ok - I'l rephrase it
do you think I am flexible and fit enough
and have the balance
to do that
Now - look - OK - I phrased the original post in a SLIGHTLY ambiguous way
I simply meant that I rode it in the opposite direction to normal - I do that so the cafe boat is on the second half rather than less than half way round
Honestly!!!
