American kiwi fruits!! Whatever next ?
They grow them in California.

"at the height of the Cold War, the name ‘Chinese gooseberry’ was proving to be a marketing nightmare, as well as being misleading (gooseberries are from a different botanical family altogether.) The fruit was briefly re-named ‘melonette’ before being re-branded in 1959 as ‘kiwi fruit’, after the furry, brown, flightless national bird of New Zealand to which it was thought to bear a resemblance. The moniker stuck, the popularity of the fruit began to soar, and kiwi fruit became one of New Zealand’s defining agricultural products"

I keep trying green tea as it's supposed to be good for you but found the taste too earthy for my taste, but found a nice Twinings one that has mint in it and it's much more palatable. Just having a big mug now.
I lime green tea but with me it acts as a powerful diuretic 🤔

Ive just been on a shopping trip to the local pie shop. Its called To Pie For and has won lots of awards. Not particularly cheap but top quality.
I bought for the family but for me i got......
1 steak n peppercorn
1 chicken, ham n leek
1 steak n guiness.
They will freeze.

Daughter is mostly veggie so i got her a cheese, potato n onion.

For SiL its chicken madras
For grandson its 2 x steak.

I will have one later with chips and a bit of gravy......maybe some peas.
