Afternoon all .Though it feels later as I had to be up for 7.30am to get the car to the garage for 8.30. Yes I know that’s not early for some people on here , but felt early to me 😂.
To reward our virtue in being up so ‘ early’ we had a breakfast and coffee stop on the way home . Mrs exlaser has been baking and I have been ‘ having a constructive discussion’ with some reform types on line so we are both feeling achieved. We are now sat thinking about going for a walk , but hopefully if we prevaricate a little longer the car will be ready and we won’t have to bother . 😀
Stay dry folks .

Never trust a Land Rover, anyone with any sense would take a Toyota Landcruiser instead

"I heard somewhere" that the top channels in the cabinet are the fastest
so if you moan enough and a decent engineer comes out that knows what they are doing
then they sometimes just move a few people down a bit and put your connection closer to the top
and all is well

If in doubt - get a free speed monitor and leave it running
then ring them (getting an answer might take a while) and tell them you have this as evidence

Oh - and BTW - I used to work in IT and I worked on one of the first Customer Service Centres in the country
we used to have to make sure that ALL calls were answered in TEN SECONDS

all it took was spending enough money on people and equipment

so think of that next time you hear "we are experiencing high demand at the moment"

B****X - demand is predictable to a VERY high level of confidence
