Forgive me father for I have sinned, I had fish and chips yesterday.
Today I am on quiche which should be interesting as it's been in the freezer for over a year. Yesterday I read the instructions which say to freeze within 3 days then defrost and eat within one month  . So if I dont report in after tomorrow you know why.

As long as you put in freezer within three days I wouldn't worry about the one month carp.

I don;t think that would be a problem

Get it cooked properly and I reckon you should be able to eat it in about 10 minutes
much less than a month anyway

Just done a mercy mission next door. The lady went to read her gas meter only to find a giant spider in the meter cupboard and she freaked.

I was invited in for a cuppa, but politely declined. Im sure it was an innocent invitation, but probably not a good idea to go into the house of the attractive single mum next door on my own. Mrs D isnt the jealous sort, but not only am I a good boy I want to be seen to be a good boy, completely beyond reproach. Thats the way to have a quiet life.

Can I come? You're right January has been a miserable month so far.

We’ve just looked at the forecast and postponed it

i'm on some drugs that stop clotting

I did something like that ( actually a bramble cut while I was riding - so honourable) and it took all night to stop bleeding
got through most of a packet of plasters!!!

Whilst undergoing chemo my platelet count was very low.

I ate a Cornetto and a shard of wafer stabbed my palet just behind my top two front teeth. Cue blood drip that morphed into a blood stream.

The nurses went through 3 bowls of gauze swabs, several adrenaline applications and then platelets delivered by IV.

3.5 hours later it finally stopped bleeding.

Damp day here again. May attempt some house cleaning. May not.

Have a good day, all.

Went mad and went for a ride before lunch

weather forecast said it was raining but the drive and road were dry so I just did it

errrr
well - it was raining all the way out - off and on and only light but still wet

and it were windy - very windy
"Convenient" gale force from the side across The Bridge

but the cafe boat was still open at Marina Village - I really though they would have given up and gone home but they were still there

they had checked the weather the same way I did !

anyway - bit of a mess round there due to Scottish Power digging up every road they can find and the road out of the village (which is modern and very small) was controlled by temporary traffc lights

After tea and cake (shhhh - don;t tell the wife!!) I road up the hill and stopped at the lights behind a car

a nice bloke just heading home with his dog came over and warned me that the road was covered in diesel and was slippy - which was nice of him
Then when the lights went green the car in front was delayed due to a digger that didn;t quite get across the road in time
and when I got to the far end - the car having gone another way - a big pick up thing (you know the type) decided that some bloke on a bike wearing hi-vis and having reflective tape all over his bike was not relevant and just came down teh road towards me!!!
What a ****!
OK there was just about enough space to him and me to pass - but way less that a decent amount
I don;t think he was very pleased at me giving him a "polite hand signal" - not THAT one!!!
