5 mile wander done. I managed to do a trail that would have been too muddy lately but the frost had firmed it up. Very quiet most of the way round apart from a few runners near the end. A sunny day in prospect so the trails will get much busier later.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Well done Mo. I am about to enjoy a cooked breakfast.

Good morning. It's a glorious day in sunny Lancashire and forecast to hit 3⁰ by 12.00. I woke at 1.30 and couldn't sleep so got up and did stuff. By 8.00 I was ready for bed again and another two hours sleep.

Next is brunch and then I'm going to work on the allotment for the first time in weeks. It will be cold but clothes beat that but not soaking wet.

morning looks chilly out there
and was when I remembered I needed to go and retreive my wife's Valentine card from the car

all sorted now - off to wake her up in a few minutes!

she normally forgets - it is also her sister's birthday so she remembers that and forgets Valentine's day!!

although she has remembered a couple of times recently - but

Paul.
After reading one of your comments I called in to a Turkish barber to ask his prices.
I told him I would want..... haircut, shave, nose and ears sorted.
He looked blank and asked "do you mean wax your nose"? I told him I didn't know, I just wanted the hairs gone.
He said 25 pound.
He didn't fill me with confidence.
