Good morning all.
A cloudy start to the day here but due to be a bit warmer than yesterday with light winds. Sounds like a bike riding type of day.
I have a few errands to run so I will work them into the ride.

I have a 1Kg tub of Citric acid sitting under the sink. I use it to descale our coffee machine ( 50g citric acid 450ml water ). Chuck the occasional handful in the washing machine and dishwasher then put them on a hot cycle. Ditto the kettle every now and then. Cheap as chips and really versatile.

Tell me..... in Oz do they use FB a lot or is there a more widely used thingy.
Reason I ask....... my Bro has been working hard at our family tree. We had an uncle (Dads brother) that emigrated back in C 1920. In the 80s one of his daughters (our cousin) got in touch with our Mum but being the awkward person she was, she binned the letter.......and that, as they say, was that.
We have his name, date he emigrated, the ship he sailed on.
Our efforts got us nowhere.
To your knowledge are there any avenues we can explore?

As an additional saving, I run mine through before 07:30 as it's still Night-time leccy rste 😊

Good morning from a grey Dorset. After a couple of weeks of little to no running I took myself out yesterday and ran 5k. Never being one to learn from experience, I chose the hilliest off road route I could find. It felt great being knackered and dragging myself uphill through the woods but I spent half the night leaping out of bed with leg cramps 😁.
In other news, Mrs Tkk ordered several items from Dunelm. We got a confirmation email and later a delivery date/s, they're delivering in 3 separate loads over three days🤔 Today is supposed to be Yodel, but I received a notification from Evri, tomorrow is supposed to be Evri, and Thursday will be DHL. Wish me luck folks 🤞

Interesting, we run the washing machine and dishwasher on an overnight cycle but our cheap rate finishes at 05:30. I see that Octopus do an " Economy 7 " type tariff and it says you only need a Smart meter not one of the dedicated split meters that they used to use. Might be better for us once things settle down and the 1st April tariff changes take effect.

I didnt sort the wild bird food out yesterday so that's on the agenda.
