Good morning. Dull, grey, misty and cold. I had planned a day of sunshine on the allotment. I feel dreadful after waking at 2.30am. I'm off for a nap shortly, then I'll go to the allotment.

I realised earlier today my sons are the last of the family line!!!! ☹️☹️ If they don't produce a son that's it, we will become extinct. No more PaulSBs. Not sure how I feel about that. The end of the family line. Who will pass on my jeans?

Normally the charity shop gets my JEANS,
unless my son has a son, wich is looking unlikely my Genes will end with him.😁
Our Daughter is expecting a baby in July, but the family name won't continue as she took her husband's name.

Personally when I stop using my jeans they are pretty much useless

My wife generally has to force me to chuck them out due to holes and teh like

I would just downgrade them to gardening/DIY and "cycling in muddy weather" and never chuck them out!!

Genes is a different matter - I have no sons, so my name dies with me
Well - quite a common name so that will continue
In fact mu wife's sister married a bloke with the same surname
But GODS I hope we are not related!!!

Genes are OK - I have a daughter so that's her problem now!

My surname is not common being Smith.
My Dad had 7 brothers so there will be relatives out there somewhere but due to his religious conversion he/we had no contact with most of them. I knew 1 uncle but he died childless.
My son has a son somewhere but that marriage was a disaster and he lost contact 20+years ago.
So, it looks like the world will miss out on any genius from my loins.

Good morning all. A cold and misty start to the day. Set to be similar but slightly warmer through the day.
Our broadband is down... Virgin say it will be down until 4pm. A shame as the Arsenal v City cup final is on tv (but not around here).
I will have a coffee, wake up and go for a stroll.......I will have another play on the mobility scooter when things warm up.
Kicks off at 4:30pm, so you might be OK. ^_^
