Surprisingly busy day today!
All chores mentioned earlier (apart from the bathroom blind) completed including cutting the grass.
Also, windows have been cleaned inside & out and a set of solar lights that don't work have been dismantled & fiddled with.

Hello

Been ignoring you lot all day as we had the grand kids

They were great - well behaved and just generally nice!!

anyway the little one (5) was having an inquisitive day -asking me "how is this made" "what is this made of"
pretty much all days

best bit was

What are socks made of??
so I told him cotton
How to they make it?
so I told him

went through all that

next question

"How do they make the other sock??"

His sister (13)was listening and nearly wet herself laughing!

Good morning all.
A sunny but cool start to the day here.
Today MrsP and myself are off to the Tulip fields near to St Albans. MrsP has been on about going for a couple of weeks.
Nearby is London Colney and a retail park, and as I need a couple of pairs of shorts for the summer, my existing ones are pretty well worn and faded now, we will call in there.

A jolly good morning to all.
A pleasant day in store weatherwise and the forecast for the week is getting better all the time.
No idea what i am doing today but what i should be doing is........
Wash/dry dishes
Make and freeze some burgers.
Batch make a slowcooker full of corned beef hash.
I need my energy back first.

No idea what my BP is but the only tablet is for acid reflux.
Oh I also take a B6 with magnesium but cant say i need it.
Magnesium is important for bone density and can aid, for some people, sleep. I'm not sure it helps me sleep but my bone density is measurably increasing, a result of exercise and probably magnesium. Increasing bone density is the opposite of most older people.

Good morning folks. Managed to get out for a run yesterday, my first for a few weeks. Quads are weak and I almost stumbled when my left quad protested on a gentle downhill. Mrs Tkk hasn't been doing much walking due to her knee pain, she has a consultation with the doctor on Friday to discuss the results of her X ray ( not good, she saw the results in the NHS app )
Sadly she has lost confidence on the bike too. The brand new G line is unused due to the extra height making mounting too painful/ awkward, and when she took her standard brommie out yesterday she came back saying she had to get off and walk on occasion due to lack of riding confidence. I have offered to accompany her but she says that would put extra pressure on her. Hopefully a little each day will get her confidence back, sad to see such a change in someone who has solo'd LeJog. 😕
