Car passed it's MOT and is back home now.

Car gone for MOT and new pin number ordered which will take a few days.
I got back on the bus after dropping off the car and it was full of old people !
I will have to endure the same ordeal when I go and collect the car back.
I may be an OAP but don't regard myself as old.

I read a FB post earlier where a 79 year old lady was saying she and her husband got in a train carriage and all seats were full. Lots of young people but none offered thier seats to the elderly couple. She was asking what's happened to the days when young people were taught to respect older people.

I am 67 today incase anyone is interested. I think I prefer just to forget my birthdays now.

Interesting, or not, maybe, experience at Daktari this morning.
As the receptionist was busy being told how many times the potential patient had opened their bowels in the previous 24 hours, I decided to use the self-book in screen.

Month of birth: ✅
Date: ✅
Initial of surname ✅
Up pops a ladies name.. Cancelled.. Tried again.. Same thing 🤷‍♂️

Turns out that Emma is the practitioner I'm booked to see... How was I supposed to know that 😂

They have no repect for themselves and the OAPs are just in the way of their life style,
the old days have gone and will never be brought back.

Maybe and it’s a big maybe, the young people had the foresight to book their seats as it can be a busy train.🤷🏼‍♂️

Couple of years ago, MrsPete and I were on the London Underground.
Heaving, as usual, with not a seat to be had. Several people of assorted youngish ages offered a seat which MrsPete gratefully accepted.
I didn't realise I looked that old and decrepit/in need of a seat!
