I have had 8 now. The first was just plain awful, the middle 6 were bearable and Tuesday's was virtually beyond unbearable. I had to apologise for swearing at a couple of points!

They went 'in' 3 times, apparently the Leukaemia trial that I am on needed more samples than usual. And I have very hard bones (good at my age) and they are evidently tough to bore through. In the USA they do these under GA which makes more sense to me.

I am now bloody terrified of the next one in 3 months time.

I attend a number of on line support meetings for my particular condition. There's usually a presentation/ discussion with a Specialist / Nurse Practitioner / Haemo etc followed by a QA session and discussion. I gather that there have been advances in blood analysis and cytogenetics that have had quite significant effects on the need for further bone marrow biopsies as the " markers " can now be detected in the blood. No doubt your Consultant is on the ball, but it might be worth querying?

I blocked that group after finding that the "owner" of it is from America!!!! - he was the one that was calling me all sorts of name - terrible things like "woke"!!!!

I translate "woke" as "considering of others" and accept it as a compliment.

Yesterday afternoon was spent mooching about town and getting a good gardening book at our local indy bookshop, then down to the micro pub /tap for a few beers and then chips afterwards.

Today was up to the market and a small bit of shopping and thrifting; got eggs and rolls plus some bargain crumpets at B&M.Plus the better half got some White Stuff trousers and a Community Clothing top for less than £15 the pair.

Afternoon has been more seed sowing (Rocket and Sweet Williams) and a bit of typing and dead heading.

Still no rain even though it's been overcast since lunchtime.

Should`nt that book read " The garden SAUCE" ? The sauce being whatever tipple takes your fancy ?

With Leukaemia the cancerous cells production site is in the bone marrow so it will always need checking. They do take peripheral blood and test at the same time - basically an active disease, or not, test.

@Tenkaykev re the hedgehog camera.
The model with the solar panel on the camera probably won't work as the house will be covered by bushes and shrubs.
Do they do one with a separate solar panel on a lead ? If so do you know how long the lead is ?
Ive sent you a pm.

Morning. Slightly milder but the roads are a bit damp. Must have been a shower overnight.

Good morning from a Sunny Dorset. My new jacket should arrive today so expect much warmer weather 😁
Speaking with Paul the Postie yesterday, things are afoot at the Post Office, our lady postie has left to take up another job, and one of the middle managers was put on deliveries so he's leaving on Saturday. With the amount of parcels being added to the post rounds it looks like the management might have taken on a delivery contract. 🤔
I'm off to Wimborne via the Stour, there's a Rohan store there and I will ask the nice ladies if they have a spare button for my old jacket.
Have a peaceful day folks 🦔☀️🏖️

Morning all :hello:

Yay Fish Friday!
But I had fish and chips last night, so it'll have to be something different tonight.
MrsD has had a reaction to her shingles jab and is feeling a bit under the weather this morning, so I don't know what I'll be doing today, apart from looking after her.
