managed to move some meconopsis [blue poppies] from some naff compost into good potting compost. Very fiddley as theyre tiny but hopefully i can grow them on and plant them in my front garden
Morning, lot cooler today at 28cCoooeeee. 13 deg here. Well that was an interesting night. Thunder, lightning and torrential rain. My poor hanging baskets have taken quite a bashing. I don't think I've seen or heard as much thunder and lightning in one storm.
Stay safe peeps![]()

Out for a spin soon, nice to not need a jacket, glad ive got a vizor on my helmet as large bugs/beetles/bee's etc have been hitting which would hurt without protection.

Well I managed another hour. I'm now in Tesco cafe drinking coffee after a quick shop. I'm waiting for the car wash people to finish. I confess I really came to get the car cleaned, it was filthy and I'm giving friends a lift two Blackpool later today. The car guys will do a great job in 45 minutes, it would take me 2 - 3 hours.
