Ride ridden.
Lovely it was too. Sunny and pleasantly warm. 35miles 2900ft so a few hills in there as well.

Mine was £650 for 2 ridges, 16 tiles in total. I have known the guy that did it for many years. I dont get 'mates rates' buti know he won't rip me off.

Sounds about the same rate at roughly £40 per tile or thereabouts.

I had one quote (without even visiting the house) of £4800!

Back from Lidl, 1 collapsible laundry basket which when expanded resembles a baby bath ( Mrs Tkk used a baby bath as a laundry basket for many years )
One tub of " Premium " creamy coleslaw, 1 block of Tempeh and two bottles of Grahams Scottish Kefir )
Wore my rain jacket which worked its magic, as the sun came out and I was overheating on the way home 😎

I went to Aldi for some chicken legs. They didnt have any but that was fine as I got a wet suit, a garden hose, a dog basket and a pair of running shoes.
Might have been a bit hasty as I dont run, dont have a dog and dont swim......but they were cheap and look nice.

Been sitting on the patio in the sunshine, very pleasant. Having an early tea of mixed olives with feta cheese, pita bread and hummus finishing with some grapes.
