Now I only have the TV OK for background noise while I look at Netflix, you tube etc

Do you not have Netflix and YouTube on your telly? Better watching it on a big screen.

We must be weird as we're quite a quiet house during the day. Mrs Tkk will catch up with the Archers while cooking, listen to the 6:30 quiz shows on the radio while eating our evening meal. Telly only goes on for specific programmes such as Springwatch then it gets turned off.

Good morning all.
A cloudy day in prospect here, but possibly no rain today.
I would rather have the radio on than the telly, there are certain TV programmes that I like, such as Springwatch and I'll put the telly on for that, MrsP on the other hand likes the telly on most of the time. I put my earbuds in when she is watching some stuff.
Looking through the TV guide there are a majority of repeats on all the main channels, money must be tight for production companies to to make new stuff.
There has been a couple of new things though. Ch4, Tip Toe, a great cast, a bit weird and quite brutal in parts.
C5, the Fortune, a bit formulaic but maybe worth a watch if you have nothing better to do.

This afternoon I have a meeting of the Escape committee at the 🚂 🛎(RailwayBell) plus I have to order some flowers, possibly roses as tomorrow is our 45th wedding anniversary.
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Mrs D tells me Geddy woke her up in the night. Thinking he wanted a wee she pulled on her dressing gown and opened the garden door, butnhe wasnt interested.

Turns out he wanted a treat! And when she went back upstairs Bruce was patiently waiting for a treat as well, suggesting they had planned it together. Suffice to say the didn't get one - that'd start a never ending cycle of being awoken every night...

Morning all :hello:

Yay! Fish Friday. :hungry::cheers:
Of out later.
Now, we haven't had a TV for nearly 30 years and have told the licencing people ages ago. Every couple of years they send an email asking to confirm that we still don't need a licence. Got an email last night and was halfway through filling it out, when I thought - no, why should I? So I binned it.
I await, with interest, to see what happens next.

Good man. You dont have to tell Tesco that you now shop at Waitrose. Screw 'em. I had a goon visit earlier this year - I redirected them back off my property and closed the door.

I dont miss live TV one bit. I dont mind paying for essential services even if I don't use them, but a succession of filthy perverts on the payroll and repeats of Roger Moore era James Bond films every Christmas aren't enough to tempt me to buy an aerial.
