Had mine earlier this year. Not sure if they stop when I reach 70. Must check. I think once you're over 70 the government couldn't care less if you die anyway as you are no longer productive.

Just checked, it's 74.

That prompted me to check my OAP Bus Pass, expires 2029, so, I had better make the best of it, before I am "terminated" 😂

Not sure where else to put these pics but they might just be of interest to some here 🙋‍♂️
Shop front (ex filling station) in Castleton. Photo'd through a window, hence the quality.

Apparently, Merryfield in Somerset is the hottest place in the UK today at 36.7C.
One upside is that the tarmac is melting and filling the potholes. 🤣

Patches and sealant turned up but I was already fettling the Stayer All Road; re-routed some Di2 cables and re-positioned the Supernova front light using a mix of Suoernova mounts and bolts ,much neater than having a mount bracket and I can still fit the Garmin battery pack.

Also amazing how much stuff is needed to move a light and some cables

Had burger(with a milk bun from the bakery) and fries (done in the air frier) ,will have a decaf coffee and the odd biscuit later.

Oh and still hot although there is quite a stiff breeze but it's hotter now than it has been all day.

Does that mean you can't get bowel cancer when you are over 75?
Or does it mean you don't matter after that?
It is still 33 degrees in the sun here so there is no point in having a shower yet.
I will have one just before going to bed.

I googled - Why, well what they are saying that Bowel Cancer takes a long time to develope
so if your all clear at 74 the lightly chance of you getting is is low, but you can still get the poo sticks
and test after 74 if you call the NHS.

My DIY chilled coffee was a complete success, and I have just guzzled half a bottle of Grahams Kefir which was on yellow sticker in M+S. The Kefir tasted a little sour so I added some Canadian maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit. Waiting for the sun to drop a bit lower before heading out to top up the hedgehog food and water.
