Good morning all. A sunny start to the day here.
My new wheel for the car arrived yesterday, so this morning I am off to the tyre place to get a new tyre to replace the one that was trashed on Monday. The pressure sensor will have to swapped over from the old wheel as well.
I have a meeting of the Escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell 🚂🔔
and being a Friday I'll get a takeaway curry on the way home.

Yes, delivery (at least of heavy/bulky stuff) is my fall back for when I can no longer drive. At present, I fit the "food" shop into one early morning (06:30 - 07:00) trip per week, when Mrs Boldonlad is still soundly asleep, that way, I do not have to organise someone to "cover" for me in looking after her.

Friday evening means shopping, but Mrs D softens the blow by taking memto Costalot for a coffee and slice of millionaires shortbread.

Morning. Dry and reasonably cool with a nice breeze. Walk done just around the riverside trail loop and nipped into the Co-op on the way home so about 4.5 miles.
I've lasted two weeks on carnivore/keto but the lack of energy has got to me and I've given in and had some porridge this morning. I know if I pushed through my body should start burning fat for fuel, but the heavy, weak legs until I get there always ends in me giving up. I could maybe do one week per month just as a reset.

Morning, only 19c here today.Next Friday we have a hose pipe ban so I've just been told by email
so before then must clean the car, it really does not apply to me
as I technically don't use a hose pipe connected to the mains
I fill a 5 gallon container from my flat and take it down to the car park
and use a electric pump and hose to wash the car.
As they say you can water your garden with a watering can.
I rest my case M'Lord...........
