How did this week's burgling go Pete?

Bike polished like glass,Thursday booked in the to do diary,it's my time day.a little ride to Otley,i am sure i have mentioned this before.In the next 48 hours my cages and bottles will arrive according to my Evri e mail.So i will test out my orange fruit drink instead of water and my berry flavoured hydration tablets again instead of water.Sainsbury's own 20 for £3.

Cash only at my plaice, too, but W Feilds is a bit far. Leyland Drive is nearer to me and quite tasty nosh, too!

The Independent newspaper ran a feature today " 25 of the UK's best Fish and Chip Shops ". Unfortunately the one around the corner from where our daughter lives ( Westbourne Bournemouth) was featured. The place was already really busy with queues regularly forming outside so it's going to be even worse now. I will say it's a well earned plaudit, the pea fritters are exceptional and they do Halloumi or Banana Blossom as a fish substitute for those of a veggie persuasion.

Have a fullEnglish brekky at the garden centre this morning. I wont need to eat again until Wednesday.

Watching some of the Commonwealth Games. Chris Hoy is still looking well.

I hope we get to see all the athletics tonight and not just brief glimpses then having to listen to the pundits yapping.

Spent the morning doing 'job most foul' stripped down and cleaned the drain, trap and overflow on the kitchen sink 🤮

Spent the afternoon listening to a tape recording of the broadcast from the M.V. Caroline as it made steam from Folkestone to the Isle of Man as Radio Caroline North, they apologised for the occaisonal needle jump due to vibration from the engines and the state of the sea - Roy Orbison 'It's Over' had slipped from number 1 to number 2 in the charts as the new number 1, up from number 19 was - drum roll - The Animals 'House of the Rising Sun' brilliant I enjoyed spending the afternoon stuck in 1964!

finished weeding my neighbours block driveway.because of the heat i have done it over four sections,the last few feet from under his van after he went out this afternoon.i am lucky to have such a great neighbour.
