Don`t keep teasing me with showers !
I cringe at the moment when I smell barbeque in this dry weather, one stray spark is all it would take,

No teasing up here, I've been traveling around and the only constant is that most days it's rained at some point, but seeing as one loch holds more water than the whole of England and Wales it's got ot come from somewhere.

Morning. I was up at 5, fed Molly, had a glass of water then out the door by ten past.

10.2 mile peaceful wander done. It was really quite nippy when I set off but warmed up once the sun came up.

I know I had to get the duvet out last night.

Walking to church this morning about 35 mins.Deff walking back after the Thai dinner,i will need it.I am looking forward to this week a bike ride Thursday,i might have told you that already,on a sad note one of my old delivery office mates aged 72 just literally dropped down dead yesterday,i was so shocked. He took medical retirement a few years ago due to heart problems,it looks like it has come back, he just dropped down it seems.

Good morning. It's a delicious summer morning. Cool and sunny though I suspect the heat will increase as the day goes on. I'm busy adminning this that and the other. I've been chasing down savings accounts this morning. We like to keep some cash handy for big purchases; holidays, new carpets etc and I try to manage the interest rates - picked up 5%, 4.32% and an 8% today. Happy with that. Threre's also a lot of u3a admin to do. I need to get this done and then step back a bit, it's building up to the point where it feels like work.

Later more grass to cut and weeding on the allotment. A big ride planned for tomorrow so the bike needs a bit of prep.

A follow up to my earlier post, I had planned a ride along the Speyside way today, but it now looks like that's of the cards.

Still nice here but Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are to be be wet here too.

I nipped out for a half hour wander before lunch and it’s reasonably warm now.

Not that hungry so just had a little Bio & Me blueberry porridge pot. It’s plenty for a light lunch.

Mentioned before that I back onto Peel Hall Park and I'm a member of the 'friends of'' group. Ive just spent 90 minutes with the group, litter picking and cutting back overhanging bushes and brambles to make it safer and easier for people to walk.
It never ceases to amaze me where people drop litter eg i picked up an empty can just a short stroll to the nearest bin.
That should get me into heaven

I applaud this Dave 👏 👏 I have friends who do the same, it's very public spirited. As for Heaven? Could disappoint a lot of folk if you're right! 🤣
