I led a sheltered life but then was released into the Big Bad World
unfortunately I was the sort that it just flows past and he is just confused by it
until recently
my wife has been a bad influence - she told me off before for stopping at a red light!!!
Mainly in a monastery learning the benefits of being celibate.

I'm a little disappointed none of you picked up on today's deliberate mistake stupid blunder. I said we had 800mm of rain in 12 hours................the annual average for Chorley is 1000mm.......40 inches!!!!! 
We had about 8 - 10mm. Ho. Hum. There you go fessed up.
The carpet is down and the newly decorated bedroom with new carpet looks great. Very pleased. There is a downside to this, the washing machine is screwed. We had a throw over a chair in the bedroom. Mrs P put the throw in the washer. It's started to disintegrate. My next task is to drain the washing machine, fight my way into the pump filter and clean that up. FML!!!

Sorry about that,but explain this to me.Millions of us have been given new aids with rechargeable batteries,well three of us have.Me Mrs P and f i l.I was not asked to surrender my battery operated ones,so why did you have to pay,if they don't collect old ones in.

It will be like all medical equipment provided to patients for "home" or personal use. In most instances the cost of collecting, checking over, repairing etc far exceeds the cost of new equipment.
Someone has to pay for the cost of replacement, holding stocks, etc.
Clearly the NHS is trying to eliminate the cost of free to user batteries. Therefore only rechargeable aids will be issued in future. It's a cost saving.
I really dony know about the rechargeable type.
I will make a phone call tomorrow.
I had to pay as it was less than 2 years old and I lost it .
How often do yours need recharging ?

I have rechargeable ones
I was told to recharge them every night as they are designed to no over charge or anything

Are you sure you have the meaning of words like "Monastery" and "celibate" the same as the rest of us???
Well celibate as far as females are concerned.
A battery lasts me at least a couple of weeks but tbh i dont need it all the time.
I have been told that is the wrong thing to do so I'm going to try wearing it all day.
But not when it comes to males.😏
Only while I was in the monastery.
