Mrs SD went for the weekly shop today.

Highlights (2):

Gold Blend Decaf is now £8.35 for 190g* at Sainsbury, but is on offer at £6.00.

There is a road betwixt our Morrisons & Aldi, as the aforementioned lady was driving along it she spotted a Rook (non-chess piece variety) walking straight across the Zebra crossing. 🐦‍⬛:laugh:

*As an aside, when did 220g jars of coffee shrink to 190g? Only noticed this shrinkflation today.

Life. Exciting!

Back from our pub visit and I am truly miffed....yes truly miffed is what I am.
It is normally just me with my neighbour (plus 80 others) but this week my Bro had come from the Wirral.
As part of the package you get a meal plus 2 games of bingo. A raffle is £1.00 optional extra.
During the singers break we had bingo plus raffle.
Raffle 1st and who should wi £20 but my Bro on his 1st visit.
Next the bingo which my neighbour won.... £10.
Me ? I won diddly squat.
Hence my being miffed

Same here, I hate it when somebody stays on my wheel ( they can`t be slipstreaming me, that`s for sure) just go will yer ! I can`t chat and cycle at the same time.

I never did group rides as I hate seeing groups hold traffic back. Yes, I know they have the right but I dont like it and some, not all but some groups get cyclists a bad name.
I always went solo or with a mate and we would be single file.

Whilst I don`t want to cause offence to anyone, there have been times when a group have come towards me on narrow lanes, do they narrow themselves ? do they heck, I`am the one who has to hug the bank or the verge.

Be thankful it was only £85, my missus one cost three and a half grand four if you included the accessories, luckily she was a lot more careful than me, I misplace stuff all the time. I lost my sunglasses at the weekend, I'm in the van and I only found them today while routeing around in the garage, why did I put them in there.

You're way behind the times, they became 200g years ago now 190g although you can sometimes still find the 200g jars. I hate this shrinkflation just put the price up, I've started buying the 250g refills you can often find them at £6.50-£7 on offer that's when I buy them four at a time.
