Back from my walk, 7.57 km. Round Hatch Pond, past the fragrant Lush units and onto the red brick road before dropping down past the Crematorium. Took a detour into Broadstone cemetery to pay my respects to ex mother and father in law and then popped into our " reassuringly expensive " " artisan baker " for a Mocha and an almond croissant. Back home now, ice packs on foot with dodgy ligaments and another coffee to hand.

I've had all the jabs and I'm still here........or maybe that's why I can't sleep.

Ive turned mine down.
I had one years ago and it made me really ill.
Ive also turned down a gastro camera down my throat thingy. They said it was 'precautionary' and I've had a belly full of cameras, ultra sound/radio therapy stuff.
I have agreed to a bone scan on Tuesday as its none intrusive.

That's the door in the spare bedroom given a 2nd coat of paint. Now all I have to do is to paint the doorframe around it then paint the doorframe in our bedroom and I'm done. I should have just enough paint left to do it.

It hasn't moved and it's a sealed unit so it's staying in and using a different set of cranks.
Had enough of it today so instead put some shelves up in the cupboard that's being re-organised.
In other news picked up a Levis denim jacket for £14.00 ,not that old but in good condition so couldn't leave it really.
Not had a bicky for a long time. Ginger nuts were my fave.

Well, that's me caught up with the days comings and goings. Home now, two brews and three digestive biscuits and I feel normal again.
I'm very pleased I had the colonoscopy and did the trial. I believe it's important to contribute, to give something back. Without volunteers, guinea pigs if you like, we make no progress. On the selish side the colonoscopy was all clear, no polyps or other unwanted growths - "nothing bad in there," was the examining nurse's comment.
Ponder this. Medicine must be a fascinating career..........but pushing a camera up patients' back passage every day??????

As a parent of a child that was diagnosed with autism aged 5 and has had problems all the way though school and into the workplace, I find this comment simplistic at best and at worst ………
( and yes she walked a mile to school )
