Thanks for that.
I agree with him but eg the standard Aldi curry with rice @less that £3 is imo excellent value and is plenty for me.
Ive not tried the premium range that he refers to as it doesn't include rice and by the time I add rice and possibly naan it would be too much for me.

Really warm today with very strong S wind. Lots of chores done and a weights session.
Will ride tomorrow. Grass cut.

As for curry, we make our own from scratch although with maybe some tikka masala paste in. My wife is very anti UPF so never or extremely rarely makes anything with any in.

The Aldi curries are really good at £3.99

Butter chicken, chicken tikka massala & jalfrezi are all excellent.

We add roasted peppers and fried tomato to ours.

It's quite warm down here this evening, the breeze is quite stifling.

I did chicken breasts, sliced open and filled with phillidelphia cheese, wrapped in smoked bacon and baked in the oven with mushrooms, tomatoes cooked with parmesan, back pepper and basil, and a jacket potato.
All cooked in 30 minutes and very tasty. :hungry:

Spent most of today sorting out a few floor tiles which sounded hollow and one moved slightly, so up they came, took about three hours to remove all the old adhesive, I’ll grout tomorrow.

Absolutely knackered now!
