Last week, with the game already lost, Ryan resorted to try and injure a Frenchman tactics.
Should have got a red card.

Anywhere else on the field, that try gets given despite the ball going forward. It only got called forward there because of the 22m line. Deserved a try too. Only one team playing rugby at present but Ireland look like they might score the other end.

As I said, it was only given forward on the Italy try due to its location relative to a line. Those passes get allowed all the time. The two decisions turned the game a fair bit. Italy still the better side for me but Ireland have improved other than in the scrums.
