Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I cannot understand the feeling of almost shame from players and commentators about England losing to Italy. Italy have beaten every other top international team other than NZ so England had no divine right to win.

It's not so much the identity of the teams that England have just lost to (although a first ever loss to Italy adds statistical interest). The problem is that the team is performing so badly.

Any predictions on the eye-gouging investigation?

Can France lose any points? [I presume not, from the gossip I've read so far.]

Personally I think it's an offence that should attract the most severe of penalties - it's violence with no sporting/tactical purpose even in a contact sport, and potentially life-changing results.

No, France can't lose any points, but the player can be banned for quite a long time.

If t had been seen at the time, it would have been a straight red card, no bunker nonsense. And several months ban, not just a few games.

well I won't be betting against those outcomes! But I do think that all 3 could be very good games - and I wouldn't be shocked if any of those three lose.

Yeah, I'd predict each of those individual outcomes. But overall I'm predicting only 2 of those 3 will be right. I'm just not saying which one will be the one to buck the trend. ;)

I think Wales-Italy could be a great match.
I fear England may be on the wrong end of a stuffing, but you never can tell with France.
Ireland-Scotland I think it depends on Scotland's mental strength away from home.

Scotland started off today, just like they finished last week - shipping tries every time Ireland had the ball, all while playing some very pretty rugby.
The pace dropped off in the second twenty, with quite a few errors creeping in. Finn Russell being the prime culprit. He’s being heavily marked and struggling to create space for his backs.

Agreed. The Irish have controlled Russell.
